Choir got GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heres de update on everything (almost) dat happened on thurs, SYF dae:
(get ready 4 a super long post)

k in de morn, we had 2 go 2 sch at bout 8
den we had 2 change into our gowns (for girls) & blazer&tie&shirt&pants (for guys)
den de girls were all rushing 2 do our hair
we had 2 pin back our fringe/bangs n den spray all de flyaways with hairspray
den we had 2 do our makeup

after dat, we practised 4 a short while
den our conductor ms lim came 2 encourage us & den left again (i tink 2 conduct her other choir/s)
den at 10.45, we went 2 de bus 2 VCH
we practised a bit in a room & den went 2 get ready 4 our performance
we were after northland sec
when we went on stage...
k hold on i've been using too many 'we's

anywae, i was quite nervous at first
but after i did de breathing thingy our conductor advised
i was ok
so we sang de songs
heres de order:
White Horses (set piece)
Hoi Nali Dol (Dawn-hungarian piece)
Japanese Game (super lively & fun 2 sing)

de first 2 were uber good i tink
but de jap game was quite rushed & messy
...
so after we sang
we went 2 watch de choir dat came after us b4 gg back 2 sch
(i wont tell u how i felt bout dat choir...)

i was relieved dat de whole thing was over
but also worried about wad de result was gonna b
i went 2 change
den i went 2 amk hub with angela 4 lunch
we were actually contemplating whether or not 2 go back 2 sch 2 find out de results
in de end we did
we met up with our juniors her huey & iffah at mac
after lunch dey wanted 2 take neoprints
ok...den something happened dat i wont say
cus its a long story

anywae, after dey finished neoprint-ing
we ran into our sec 3 seniors & some other sec 2s
dey were planning dis treasure hunt 4 de sec 4s
so we agreed 2 help

after buying all de stuffs we needed, we went back 2 sch
den all of us prepared everything
& de sec 4s were lyk super enthu bout de game
(actually i tink dey already knew wad we were planning)

anywae, after de treasure hunt
dey went 2 collect dere prizes n read de letters
half way through de reading
got cher chased us out cus he had 2 lock up de music room (by den it was already 6 plus)
den we all waited at de quad 4 de results

we were all expecting erica, our choir pres, 2 get a call from our teachers-in-charge
but in de end our alumni senior got de results first, by sms
den after bout 3 seconds of stunned-ness
we all burst out cheering & crying & congratulating & oh-my-god ing & calling 2 pass de message
we were lyk super super HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!

den after bout 30 min we had 2 get out of sch cus it was already very late
de sec 4s decided 2 go 2 de airport (i still dun get why)
den a whole group of us went 2 LJS 4 dinner

so...ya
dats wad happened
